The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead and grow a portfolio of customers across WA, with a strong focus on the Fruit & Produce sector and other agriculture-related industries. Reporting to the State Sales Manager – Visy Board WA, this role is pivotal in driving growth through strong customer relationships, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the agricultural supply chain.

You’ll work closely with existing customers to protect core business, identify new opportunities, and introduce the broader Visy packaging portfolio. You’ll also represent WA in national forums, contributing to the strategic development of emerging markets, including Perth and regional agricultural hubs.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage key accounts across the Fruit & Produce sector and broader agriculture market in WA.

· Build strong, multi-tiered relationships to retain and grow customer partnerships.

· Lead contract renewals, pricing strategy, and value engineering to drive commercial outcomes.

· Actively identify and convert new business opportunities across agricultural supply chains.

· Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver value-added solutions.

· Champion cross-selling opportunities across Visy’s full packaging suite.

· Drive process improvements using tools such as e-Visy, Salesforce, and reporting platforms.

· Contribute to state and national strategy for Visy’s Fruit & Produce segment, including participation in forums and growth projects.

 

What You’ll Bring

· Proven experience in account management or sales within packaging, fresh produce, FMCG, or agriculture.

· Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

· Commercial acumen and a deep understanding of agri-related supply chains.

· Proficiency in Salesforce, and the Microsoft & Google suite of tools.

· Organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

· A degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.

· Previous experience in agricultural related/ fruit & produce environments or allied industries.
