The opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new step in their career. In this role you will join a highly automated box making facility in an important dispatch function. Our Hemmant factory uses robotic forklifts and other automated vehicles across production and warehousing.
Your role will be varied, driving a counterbalance forklift, helping with dispatch administration, assisting drivers and helping to set up the routes for our automated guided vehicles.
Presently we have a Morning Shift role with overtime available.
We have new staff lunchrooms and facilities with allocated breaks during the shift. You will work in a brand-new, clean, and safe, environment with all new facilities. The factory has a lot of automation in place so there will be a need to use computers and technology.
Key responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Machine operating and relief operating.
- Forklift Duties including attachments.
- Loading & unloading of Trucks using attachments.
- RF Scanning.
- General Warehousing & Housekeeping.
- Compliance with OHS&E requirements.
- Helping to ensure planned production delivery times are met.
- Helping to control our Despath AGVs (automated guided vehicles).

What you will bring to the team:
- Be able to demonstrate previous line manufacturing experience.
- Be able to work well in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Forklift license.
- Comfortable using technology with a background using relevant dispatch systems.
